Can we create performances that don't require being looked at all the time, but which might engage a desire for collective participation?  How can these performances support and  help care for a situation, rather than disrupt or intervene?  

 

A viral performance of sounds and gestures drawn from the local environment, which are pleasurable to perform, constructed collectively and circulated virally like a meme, repeating and transforming as they pass from body to body, becoming a new language, not yet understood, by a future community not-quite-here-yet.

 

To spread this new language like a virus we visited libraries, cafes, the river, the rice field, the community centre and the karaoke bar.
